Narrow band clamps can be used for catalytic converters, exhaust nozzles, exhaust manifolds, exhaust resonators, exhaust hoses, and exhaust muffler maintenance projects.system components such as pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters etc.
  • [Features] These exhaust clamps adopt an integrated structure, minimizing the complexity of the number of parts and maximizing material efficiency, thereby reducing weight. 12.9 degree high-strength fasteners provide true sealing force, and the unique reaction block provides 360 °uniformly distributed tensile force, completing sealing around the connected exhaust components while preventing pipelined deformation.
  • [Enhanced Sealing Performance]Our exhaust pipe clamps, paired with high-quality sealant, ensure a tight fit after installation, preventing gas leaks and improving the overall performance of the exhaust system.

My opinion is any exhaust worth its metal will include band clamps instead of the old u-bolt type. This specific type of clamp has helped me to delay replacing exhaust systems when the tail pipe rotted away from the muffler. They're also good when you're putting a new system together, you're not going to deform your pipes and should get a better seal. Not deforming your exhaust pipe is possibly the most obvious benefit of these clamps. If you're doing repairs to your vehcile that require removing the exhaust, in the past you're limited to cutting things apart. With band clamps, you've a greater possibility of disassembly. The caveat to this is if your pipes are standard carbon steel, they may have rusted together in which case, they're not comming apart. For this reason, I always like to assmble my exhaust with an anti-seize compound. This specific clamp comes with something I've not seen in other products, they include a tube of exhaust seal. I don't know if this will prevent the pipes from rusting together however.I'll probably get these a few times again in the future.

Im trying to repair the very damaged exhaust on my 2010 Subaru Forester. This clamp is very solid and heavy, easy enough to install without specialized tools. It seems to be very well made and should last quite awhile. I am not at all mechanically inclined, this is a "learn as you go" sort of project for me. With that being said, I am satisfied with this clamp and would recommend.
