I got 3 of these as i was completely replacing the exhaust on my 2003 GMC Envoy. These seal and also hold the exhaust pipes together securely. Well worth it since these are stainless steel going on a stainless steel exhaust. Will order again if need be.

The small end seamed a tad small but is working well. it leaked some so I smeared muffler cement in and around the joint, after wetting the pipe. Installed the clamp and greased the clamping sections and the bolts and nuts. Tightened as much as possible and let harden for about an hour. No leaks whatsoever. I find the band clamps leak more than the regular u clamps sometimes. however removing the undistorted sections is easier if that worth anything. Steel bolts and nuts. aluminum center band.To conclude great product.
