Installation Reference
Tips:
This tool has 2 sides. One side(Side B) with the small step is for the early EVO flat style/Screamin' Eagle (Part No. 17048-98)performance gasket.
The other side(Side A) of the tool is for the tapered style gaskets,（Part No. 65324-83B）, please see below picture
For the tapered style gaskets （Part No. 65324-83B）， make sure the Thin edge of the gasket faces the Side A of this tool, while the thick edge face the exhaust port of motor cylinder head
By the way, we could use the two exhaust flanged nuts(H-D No. 7593) ,alternate tightening nuts onto exhaust mounting studs , just to press/push the gasket to exhaust port (cylinder head).

Works like it's supposed to. Just place the gasket, tapered part over the tool, push it in position on the heads, and tighten the nuts until its seated flat. Tapered portion of the gasket should be facing out, when completed. Then remove the nuts and tool and you're ready for pipes.
