I used this on my 45mm inverted forks after seeing oil on one tube. My M109r only has 4k miles on it, so I doubt the seal was bad, just dirty. The tool fit nice and slid into the seal almost too easily. There was a slight amount of oil that came out as it went in. I rotated it around twice and pulled it out. I did this to both sides even though I only saw a film on one side. I didn't see any dirt on the blade, but it had a thin white coating on it. After pumping several times and cleaning the tubes, I went for a ride and no more film. You could make a tool from a plastic bottle, but these fit perfect, do the job, clean the oil seal and the dust seal.

I was skeptical this would work for a bad leak on a dirt bike, thinking it was a tear vs some debris in seal. Worked perfect no leak now. Just buy it!

The first one of the pair that I used was great. Worked easy every time. Then I went to use the second one and the hook buckled and was worthless first try. The first one still held up after several uses. If I would have used the second one first, I would have thought it was a trash product.

These can certainly save some people a lot of money. Simply cleaning the bearings helps prolong the life.

My shocks were leaking and I used this tool to clean them and they stopped leaking almost right away, great product!

Considering it’s about $130 to rebuild each fork. This is a pretty good deal. Keep those babies clean.
