Installed on a 92 Silverado Blazer 5.7. Mine were nicely made with nice thick flanges. They fit my Y pipe although I did modify mine for front drive shaft clearance when I installed the lift a couple years ago. The headers fit nicely and look great but minor modifications are necessary. O2 sensor worked out with no issues. I used included hardware for the most part although I had to modify the alternator bracket and use a different bolt set up there. Lastly make sure to remove the spark plug wire holders before installing these. They will not clear the flanges without modification. This took very little time with an angle grinder. Reinstall them AFTER the headers have been mounted. For the money, I’d say it was a good purchase.

Nothing is perfect, but these worked for the intended application. 1992 chevy c1500, 350 TBI 5 speed manual. O2 sensor in driver side header matched up with OEM spec. My Y pipe was rusted and one flange was wrecked so I had to use 3" collectors (only ones available in shop at auto part store) and use a 2 1/2 adapter cut in half to press fit the collectors to the y pipe. Bought some grade 8 bolts for the flanges, and on inspection it seemed some of the bolts that came with the headers had fallen out of the package in shipping somehow, so other reviews mentioning missing hardware is accurate enough. The 3" collector flanges didn't line up right with the header flange holes, but close enough to wiggle in and tighten. Not sure on OEM fit, but the headers seated in the 3" collectors very well. Also I'd recommend Allen head header bolts, because some of the bolts are a pain in the neck to reach and lack clearance for a closed end wrench. (as with most headers.) The included 11mm header bolts did the job but required lock washers for depth clearance (which I learned too late) and with other bolts being missing it might save some frustration to just get them and lock washers from the start of the project. The included gaskets are thick and capable. My install had a couple bolts bottom out without me noticing and smoked one gasket from the header not being tight, but that's more of an installation issue. They almost immediately turned blue and yellow from heat. It isn't an issue for me, but if you're looking for chrome show quality it might be. Since my massive installation leak was on the O2 sensor side it might have contributed to the hot burn, but even so I don't believe these would retain the chrome look very long. The dipstick does require some modification. The included hardware didn't have enough spacers, but it worked well enough that I haven't got around to fixing it right after a month. The spark plugs and wires are a tight fit as they are with every set of headers I've ever used. Should be expected, but fair warning to the first time users. Expect spark plug installation to be annoying. I can't really say if they sound good. Mine isn't a built engine or anything special, and I plumbed the single exhaust through 2 mufflers because I like my bikes loud and my trucks quiet. I fully expected problems working with a 30 year old patient, so all the negatives felt pretty minor. I'd recommend these for a similar application. Hope that helps.

Headers are a good quality build. The hardware provided is nice. The gaskets were not good quality.

Here is the deal: shorty headers ARE a valid upgrade, and over the last twenty years of programming, tuning and dyno testing every conceivable combination on a great many makes and model of vehicles, shorty headers, on most V8 applications, add a honest, real-world, 8-12 RWHP. That is all I was looking for on an older GMT400 350 truck. Packing quality on these headers is an 8 out of 10, I considered them to be well packed in the box. Visual inspection out of the box is good, the headers were constructed by proper primary to head flange method, all welds are TIG welded, and the tubes and collector are 304ss. Extra attention was paid to the transitions at the head port, and the details inside the collector are good. The flanges are in fact, 7/16", and surfaced flat (not welded up globs to allegedly seal each port). The head flange has some warp to it, just like the $2500.00 domestic headers, so I expect no issue bolting them down flat, and I recommend the steel shim OEM gaskets for a perfect seal. The collector is designed for a ball and socket 2.5" connection, and as such, probable not a bolt in for the 96-2000 Vortec L31 engines' 1-7/8" exhaust pipes, but the 95 and older exhaust connections should be fine, which range from 2.25" to 2.5". I have no feedback from the running product, but this data should help in your decision. I consider these an excellent value for what you get, and it seems that Powergo cares about the product they sell, based on my experience.

Hardware was half missing because box was crap. Nothing to keep parts from rubbing on each other. At first glance items were decent but after inspection, items were scratched and blemished. Attempted to contact seller about this issue, they refused to respond. Attempted to install and headers wouldn't fit without slight modifications. After installation found that headers ABSOLUTELY 100% were not a direct replacement and were not compatible with the Y pipe from the factory. Would not recommend for any purpose...1 Star because ZERO was not an option.

Great fit, sound, truck performance. Installed on a crate motor so will not be able to tell any fuel economy improvements/detriments. Correct drivers side bung location for single O2 sensor that my truck is wired for. Slight modification to oil dipstick on passengers side to clear. There were slight scratches on the finish from shipping but they were minor. They did short me on hardware but they sent a partial refund to cover it. No complaints, this is a good value.
