Excellent mount. Sturdy. U bolts are cheap. Got new bolts from Lowes. Works every well with Badlands 3500lb winch.

Installed this on my 2002 Honda TRX350 Rancher to mount a Champion 3000 lb. winch. First off, installation is not for the easily intimidated. It is strongly suggested that young children and easily frightened small animals be removed from the premises during installation. A copious amount of prying and pounding is required to get everything lined up to get the bolts in and tightened down. In the interest of full disclosure, this may well be due to the age of my ATV. I can't speak to how well it was treated before it came into my possession, so that may well be the reason for the majority of the excitement. Installation instructions are clear with good illustrations, and they appear to have been written by someone with a superior command of the English language. You won't find yourself scratching various portions of your anatomy trying to discern what the heck they are talking about at any point. My major problem was with the U-Bolts and their accompanying washers and lock nuts. As provided, the length of the U-Bolts and the thickness of the washers prevented me from getting any purchase for the lock nuts on the upper U-bolt installation locations. I had to opt for a much thinner washer, which I fortunately possessed, to get the U-bolts installed and tightened. I did not investigate removing the nuts after getting everything tight to see if the supplied washers would then fit as I was just happy to get that part over. Not a whole lot of room up in there to work. I saw no reason to revisit it. Support bracket was also quite exciting to get in, bolted, and tightened down. But, once all of that is addressed, you will be left with a VERY solid mounting platform for whatever winch you decide to install. I am definitely happy with the product and would heartily recommend the product to anyone contemplating a winch mount kit for a Rancher. This is definitely a quality product.

Took a bit of love, had to swap out some of the mounting hardware for longer u bolts around the front crash guard. Besides that it's great. Holds my harbor freight 3500lb winch perfect.

I was in need of a winch mount for my 2001 Honda Rancher 350, so I started looking. This one fits pretty good. Yes you do have to use bar to help get the bottom U-bolts holes to line up, but hey it’s a universal winch mount for multiple years and styles of four-wheelers so it is what it is. Trust me when the other reviews say to get new U-bolts, get new U-bolts. The threads on the U-bolts just don’t seem well made. This winch mount does fit very well on the front frame and is universal for any kind of winch. So I would recommend this if you’re in the market for a winch mount for your four-wheeler.

Install was pretty easy & took about an hour. Everything went together pretty flakes flawless. Only complaint is that where you bolt the fairlead up it was to big for mine. This problem could easily be fixed by making the tabs a little larger & making a slot hole.

As others have mentioned u-bolts are garbage. They were easily stripped with a 1/4 ratchet and minimal torque. Think about the price of replacing hardware vs alternative products. Mount itself looks very sturdy and installs with minimal effort.

Really good it on the rancher. It came with all the hardware necessary. Some reviews said that the bolts were not good but I guess it really depends on the size winch. I have used it with a 2500 lb winch without problem. I will say that the rollers that come with my winch did not fit the bracket.. I used just a slotted groove design (picture included). Works like a charm. Overall it’s is well built and fit great. Firms up the front end too.

The mount itself is very sturdy and I would totally buy this again. I just found that the U-bolts striped easily when I tightened them up. Maybe the torque spec is lower but I was just using my ratchet all man like (Good n snug). Anyway, no big deal, I just went to the supply store and bought better ones.
