Right out the gate this thing was amazing. Cut 4 caliper mounting ears off of a spindle I was modifying for a Chevy truck. At least 3/4” thick steel. Like butter. Haven’t taken the cutting wheel off my grinder yet and it’s been months since I’ve purchased. I catch myself using my grinder almost daily and this thing is worth the buy. Bought a 2 pack and ended up giving the other one away since I won’t need another one for a while it looks like. Was skeptical at first, but definitely holds up. I’m a mobile mechanic/fabricator welder. Like I’ve said so far so good months later. Buying a 2nd grinder just to have for my flap discs now that I don’t have to change this blade out.

I need to cut the tops out of 55gal drums to use as trash/burn cans. Buying one of those fancy can opener deals is a waste. Also buying a bunch of cheap thin junk wheels isn't the way to go either. Anyway these are great for what I need to cut. Good stuff, glad I bought. Should last me a long time for just using on empty barrels.

Using this cutting wheel on the DeWalt DCG418 is a distinct pleasure. It cuts stupidly quick, cleanly and lasts a long time. Added bonus is the grit on either side of the disc about 0.125" down from the proper cutting edge that allows for some versatility in shaping sheet metal that a composite disc just can't match. Added bonus is not having to taste the composite disc as it wears away while you work (even with a mask). This is well worth the cost, though I am a hobbyist/DIYer, not a professional.I have cut 10 Simpson Strong Tie E-Z menders along the length on one side to accomodate my 4x6 fance posts for a total of about 23 feet of 0.100" thick steel, plus another estimated 30 feet of 0.040" thick steel for various projects around the house and although it looks a smidge worse for wear, still cuts quite well if not just like new... hard for me to tell at this point. This wheel does bog down my DCG413 a fair bit vs the composite cut off discs and it is to the point of where I would suggest using the composites if speed is a concern when using an angle grinder of the DCG413's power level. It perfoms ok on the DCG413, but I feel this is worth mentioning.Pictured is of the cut off wheel as it is today after all of the aforementioned cutting.

I bought these to cut some heavy 9 gauge steel security mesh sheets. I did a lot of cuts and still have the first blade. I was impressed that it lasted. So much better than replacing the typically black blades over and over. I will say that the cuts were not the cleanest, but it did not matter in my case as the mesh was to to covered up. The metal had a bit of a tail on the edges of all the cuts rather than a straight cut edge. I think this is typical of this type of blade.

I bought these with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at how well they cut, how long that last and how durable they are. I have been cutting 1/4 and 3/16 plate for some truck frame repair and I have only used the first one. Have not needed the second on all through this repair. They slice 1/4 plate as well or better and any composit wheels and best off all THEY DONT CHANGE SIZE! love that. Also was cutting on the inside of a curve par and they wheel bound up A LOT but never broke definitely very strong. NOTE if they bind up, enough they will tighten onto the grinder VERY tightly. Took me 15 mins to get this thing off. You've been warned.

Notice that internal diameter is 9.5mm, whereas my tiny angle grinder requires 10mm internal diameter. I had to spend half an hour sanding down the inner steel circle of the blade until it fit my angle grinder perfectly.I was applying lots of pressure, and I mamaged to stop the blade. The blade wasn't even close to deforming or breaking. My tiny angle grinder specifically is advertized at having a very high RPM which almost exceeds the rated RPM of this blade, so check that before you buy.Once it fits your angle grinder, it cuts steel like butter and also to be honest it grinds quite nicely to give a surface a polish/leveling. You do need to use sand paper as well for final polish though. The steel being cut is ejected in little shavings, often not even red hot.No visible damage or wear to blade edge after cutting and grinding for ~40 minutes.

I bought one of these on prime day. The next prime day that came around I thought about buying another still didn't need to. Now another prime day has come and I did go ahead and buy one more, but have no foreseeable plan to install it on my Bosch 12v brushless grinder. This disk is immortal.I've cut so many things its hard to understand how the disk even exists anymore, let alone still cuts things.I've even abused it on aluminum. I've cut copper, plastic, wood, stainless, titanium, and even very gingerly ran it ok the edge of some carbide to chip it up and make it more aggressive for a weed whacker. (Reused saw blades)I've sharpened all my mower blades for two years and just generally beat this thing to death.Speaking of death, my favorite thing about these is that you don't run the risk of them shattering and hurting you or others or your property. One twist or catch at the speed the little Bosch grinder runs at and standard wheels just implode after deflagrating against the guard...or your face. These also don't shrink down to uselessness as you use them either. The only negative thing is that they take a lot of power to operate since they are not thin cutoff wheels. They also fling actual shrapnel rather than little micro bits of metal that burn up before hitting things. If yo are in the spark output path, you will find your arm is pelted with thousands of red hot metal splinters in the surface of your skin. Same for shirts and garments. Beware of that, and don't even consider getting your face anywhere near the output of this wheel without a full shield.Anyway I almost feel bad that these are so good, I can't very well spend money on them any faster but the company deserves it, so instead I will encourage others to buy them. Five stars all the way!

Great cutting disks.I've had one on my m12 cut off tool for months now, I'd have gone through a half dozen conventional discs by now. Highly recommend.

Great cutting ability. Cut through steel with no problem. Only used it a few times but doesn’t seem to have made a difference in the wear of the disc. It is worth the cost of paying more than other options .
