Pretty simple to recommend this without hesitation. Less than half the cost of the delta spout and works perfectly. Appeared to have the same quality build as the oe/delta spout I replaced. The issue was the diverter which I did attempt to replace the washer twice and both times it still failed to perform properly. I suggest you bypass the $5 washer and pay a few more dollars for the complete spout. Super easy to install. Simply unscrew the old one, add a little Teflon tape to the threads and screw on the new one. I was actually surprised that it didnt leak and worked perfectly without any drips. I will certainly look for this brand when I need plumbing parts in the future. It is pretty standard and an easy choice. You either need the type that "snaps" on or this type that screws on. The way to tell is that with the snap on style you will find a small hex type set screw UNDER the spout. If its not there simply screw off the spout. No need to turn off the water supply. A 10 minute job max.

I replaced a slip on style Danco tub spout that I had purchased at a big box store for three times the money. The diverter on it never worked right and the design allows it to leak back into the wall.After reading the reviews for this unit and how it is designed to screw on to pipe thread instead of the slip on style, I ordered it and modified my plumbing.This is a quality built unit that functions perfectly, and the water can never leak back to the wall side. I highly recommend this unit and for the price it is a steal.

The thread is 4 inches from the wall, I cut a small notch on the underside to let any water that leaks out drip down the shower instead of leaking behind the wall. Good spout

Just a shell for 1/2 connection, no diverter pipe or adapter. like other reviews have said but i gave benefit of doubt and bought one..whelp thats what i get for not trusting reviews.

I needed a new one to replace mine but didn’t want to spend $20+. You can not beat this price point. Install is easy, you only need 4†of pipe sticking out. If you have the fancy trim piece then you’ll need 4.5†of pipe sticking out. Only thing I did was add a drain hole for the bottom side. This will drain any water if your threads leak, otherwise the water will run into the wall. Chrome finish seems good, have not had any issues with using it for a few weeks

Perfect! Went on with no issues at all, doesn’t drip when you have the shower head on. Looks great !! Very pleased with the product and the $9 price tag. I searched Home Depot and Rona and these were $18+ ! I’d definitely buy another

Bought one 4 years ago.Easy to switch out the old one.Installed in tubshower that uses hard water.Became totally discolored from hard water.Just installed water softener and bought same spout again.Hope it will last longer this time with soft water.
