Very easy to install, will make oil changes a breeze. I used this on my initial thousand mile post break in oil change.When you take your drain plug off don't be alarmed if you don't see a washer, it's basically welded to the bolt with factory paint.I would highly recommend this, great quality, designed so it can't come open on its own.

I use this type of drain in every vehicle I work on. No muss, no fuss. Hose the oil right into the collection container, and for some jobs, pump the new oil in via the same hose (especially marine engines and large diesels). I buy my 15-40 in 5 gallon cans, so "pouring" is out of the question. A Jabsco reversible pump will pull the old oil out, and pump the new oil in. Slick work, no problems, no mess. Fumoto is the only brand that makes this 90 degree fitting that can be in any position; my tractor's front axle is right tight to the drain plug, so the other designs could not be turned into place. This allows installation no matter what's "in the way". Great product.

Worked great on my Ascent, no more wrench required for oil changes. EVERY CAR NEEDS THIS, it's that good. Especially if you change your own oil.

Have installed these on all three of my vehicles and makes oil changes very easy and with no mess. All of my family/friends use them also and totally enjoy how much easier/cleaner these make the job. It also offers you the ability to drain a small amount of oil in case you overfill.

Install was just as easy as putting your original drain plug back in. Being able to clock the direction of the drain is awesome. You can literally drain your oil without getting your fingers dirty, needing gloves, or needing a socket/wrench. I wish I had discovered these 20 years ago because I would have put them on every vehicle I owned.

I was super excited to get this valve however the ONLY reason I returned it was because the Subaru dealership glued my drain plug on and I couldn’t get it off. It has been a huge ordeal getting this repaired so I figured I would just order it again after it’s fixed.

This adapter is nicely made. I got it for my ‘21 Subaru Outback XL, which has the oil plug angled at about 45 degrees toward the drivers’ side. The problem with that is the oil stream squirts quite a ways toward the driver’s side before slowing down and dribbling directly down, so you need a wide oil drain pan, or you have to be very quick in moving the pan to keep it under the flow.The adapter is angled at 90 degrees, so with the adapter installed the flow will be 45 degrees toward the passenger’s side, so not really addressing the long travel issue, although the on/off valve should make things somewhat easier.

Very well made and fits perfectly to the chosen car oil pan.There was a time when the manufacturer supplied torque values for the bolt installation, but it can no longer be found on the web site. Installation is therefore: tighten snug, then a little more...However, these items work great and stay put with no oil leakage despite motor vibration, until you open it up for the next oil change.
