Direct replacement to your original unit. Plug-and-play, direct fit, easy installation
3 positions switch: ON | OFF | RESERVE
ON: fuel on - lever pointing up - allow you to operate with normal fill-ups.
OFF: fuel off - lever horizontal - completely shuts off gas flow.
RES: reserve on - lever pointing down - allow you to access the lower portion of the gas tank when gas level is low.

I pulled the old one out and easily replaced it - and no more leaks - for a 2001 Yamaha bear 400

Installed this on Yamaha 250 Bruin and it fit fine. The only difference was the fuel pickups for the regular fuel supply and reserve fuel were reversed...no big deal.

So far everything works as it should. I gave it 4 stars because the output line is smaller that OEM and the hose does not stay attached with the regular clamp - I had to use a worm clamp.
