This is very slick to use. the tiny applicator gives near pinpoint accuracy. Item held in place immediately. then I placed book on top. I was gluing the Nike logo back onto a nylon shirt-just the tiny end of the checkmark portion. Very little ran out. It's clear if it does go beyond the area.

I wanted to try this to repair a hole in my jeans, that was located right next to a seam. The jeans were in great shape otherwise, but I knew that hole was going to get larger, wash after wash, until it made the jeans unusable. Some of the description photos show them using the glue to "stitch" a couple of inches of seam together-- seems like it might need to be flexible to do that, but not really-- it's very stiff and inflexible when it dries. Nonetheless, for my eighth-inch hole, it seems to work fine. I backed it up with a bit of denim patch material, glued it up and let it dry for two days, and it's gone through the washer/dryer 3 times now. It appears to be doing what I want-- the hole's not getting larger, the inflexibility is not a problem and it's holding up.

Great product, better than ironing on patch.

Works to keep my blue jeans 2 inches shorter but glue comes off during washing machine cleaning. I was careful to use cold water but it still didn’t hold up. But the glue works between washing.

I used this on my kids Halloween costume and the items that were attached using this glue survived the Halloween season! It dried fairly quick making it easy to work with and nice consistency. The price was the reason for attracting me to it and I say it is worth it's value.

I bought this to glue on from patches for a work shirt and it doesn’t work well. Patches were coming off on the first wear(after letting it dry for 24hours), after the first wash patches came off completely.I don’t recommend.

This glue bonds strongly once it dries, but the resulting texture is like hard plastic. It's only flexible because the application is very thin. I would not want this anywhere near my skin, it's very rough and scratchy. It's also not very tacky when wet. If you don't ensure the seam stays fully closed while drying, it might not bond at all. And if you follow the suggestion to put a heavy object on top, you may find the object bonded to the cloth, as well as to the table below. It has a peculiar quirk where despite coming out of the tube thick, it actually likes to soak into fabric. This means you can apply it to the top side of the seam, and it will soak all the way through both pieces and bond them together. Unfortunately, this means it may soak all the way through to the table underneath. So + points for it being a glue, and having a well-designed applicator. But - all the other points for it not actually being suitable for cloth.

I use this as a secondary on a back brace that was a little bit too big. I folded the seams and put in the glue in each seam. Let it dry for 24 hours and then I added some Chicago screws to hold the fold but the glue dried well and had force. Between the folds keeping the tube for further fabric issues ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

I love that the cap includes a needle to keep the glue from clogging. A small thing that's such a bonus! It does dry transparent but can darken the fabric where applied. I repaired a dainty bra where you could see the glue showed through on the inside of the repair but, most importantly, it did not show on the outside lace. I would give it 5 stars except I don't yet know how repaired clothing will hold up once washed.
