I have always taped around the edges of my cross stitch projects, at times even used mod poge if the tape wouldn’t stay on. Painters tape or masking tape was my go-to. This stuff works WAY better and is so easy to use. I’ll never stitch without it. Dries quickly and keeps edges from fraying no matter how long your project takes

This products does what it says it will-it definitely stops fraying. But be advised that this product is AS THIN AS WHITE GLUE, so it will wick into fabrics easily, and it is best used where it will NOT show, as it WILL darken fabrics, and will be especially noticeable when used on light colored and/or thin fabrics. The darkening effect is very similar to what water would do to the same fabric.

Used for my cross stitch Aida cloth. Goes on white, but dries clear, and you can’t even tell it’s there, which is what I was looking for. (See pic.) It’s thick, so I used a small paint brush, and went around the edges, and it worked great. It did take a bit to dry, but seems to be holding well.

For the last few years my Brooks running shoes have not been using a protective piece of fabric, plastic or vinyl over the toes as they had done in previous years. The mesh starts to fray pretty quickly at the side of the left big toe, because my right toe hits it every now and then. I put this anti-fray adhesive over that area to keep the mesh from getting worn down on that one spot. It works GREAT and helps prolong the use of my shoes. A little bit goes a long way. You can see it if you really look for it, but it dries clear with a bit of a sheen to it.

This is just glorified Elmer’s type glue. It’s gloppy, thick, takes a long time to dry. I wouldn’t order it again, or use it on any kind of crafting. A real worthless disappointment. Do not recommend.

This stuff really works. I used it on a piece of left over carpet. Now I have small rug to use.

Works very well, apply sparingly because it creates a somewhat crusty layer if overapplied. When used correctly the product is magic. Highly recommend. And it lasts a really long time too, because you don’t need to use much of it. Make sure you open the top with a very tiny pin so that you don’t get glue everywhere. Flow control is #1

It's good. Only a light layer is able to stop fraying. I'm yet to wash it
