I purchased this fabric glue for fixing some patches on clothing items. I have washed one of the items and it has stayed on securely. I do recommend using a paper or something in between the fabric because it did bleed through on one I did not protect the other side of the clothing item on it dried quickly and was fairly easy to use. You have to be careful so you don’t use too much or it will seep out. I was impressed that the odor was very minimal.

I used this to make an extender for a trousers pocket. The pocket was not deep enough to hold a cell phone without encouraging it to fall out. I cut fabric from old clothing in the shape of a pocket, glued two of the edges closed with this glue, cut open an edge of the present trousers pocket, and glued them together. This glue was very stinky, like airplane glue, and I had to let the glue dry in the cold garage to avoid exposure to the fumes. I saw no warning on the box or the tube about avoiding breathing hydrocarbons from the glue, and this seems like an important omission, so I downrated it 1 star for that. The glue dried much softer and without hard edges, which differs from my experience with another fabric glue from Amazon. Still it is not entirely soft as many silicone glues are, and this hardness can be uncomfortable on clothing, especially on glued edges, so downrated 1 more star. Still this is a competent fabric glue and I would buy it again rather than buy an unknown.

I just used this on my pillow. My pillow had 5 very large tags attached that were about 4-5 inches long, dangling out the end of the pillow case. You know, the tags that warn you not to remove them...I cut them to about 1 inch except for one I wanted to keep intact as it had all the pertinent information re the pillow.I followed the directions and applied the glue to the underside of the tag then placed a very heavy object on top. They said to do that for 2 hours. I let mine go for about 4 or 5 hours. I was hoping the heavy object was not glued to it! It wasn't, but I have had that happen more than once. When I checked it, the tags were very securely glued down, just the way I wanted them to be. Flat with no gaps or wrinkles. I was very pleased with the results. The glue itself was very easy to work with. It comes with a cap that has a very thin pin attached to it that goes inside the tube when stored to keep the tube open and ready for use. I have a jewelry glue that has one of these very tiny pins but is much more difficult to work with. I believe the difference was that this fabric glue had a tiny tube about one half inch or so coming out the top of the tube of glue instead of having the pin go directly into the tube, which creates a mess as there is glue in the top of the tube that wants out! With this little metal tube attached to the tube of glue for the tiny thin pin attached to the cap to go into, made it a breeze to work with. I believe this was the first time I did not end up with glue all over me, my skin and everywhere else! It was fast and easy with no difficulties whatsoever! I'm extremely impressed!

I got this to repair a couple clothing items and a dog bed. I’m excited to go another route with the clothing item but went ahead and attached a patch to the dog bed and it worked great. This glue works well and this is very easy to use as long as you’re careful not to use too much. It dries quickly, and I didn’t notice any bad odor. So far it is holding the patch in place well thankfully, so I don’t need to replace my dog bed just yet.
