This is the perfect fabric glue pen for English Paper Piecing. The glue holds well when sewing - but not so much that you can't release paper pieces when you want to take them out. You can glue quite a bit on each refill. I use the edge (not the flat) to get a thiner line of glue - but you can customize that to what you need and how much you want to hold. The glue goes on very smoothly with a light touch and without bumps and clumps. Refills are very easy to change. So glad I found this item (so much faster than thread basting)!!

I used this product to make the first turn of 3/8†hems for table napkins. It made this job so much easier than pinning. The adhesion was perfect amd did not dry out too quickly so I could apply glue on a whole side at a time and work my way down, measuring, turning and sticking it down for hemming. Made hemming so easy!

My Dritz Wonder tape must be old, because it wouldn't stick to the fabric and the paper backing wouldn't peel off.This glue pen was much easier to use. However, use a light hand or it'll clump up. It held long enough to finish the seam.

I’m not sure how I lived without this! I’ve been getting into bag making and this glue stick is coming in very handy. I’m using it to glue the zipper on before I sew. It holds well and keeps the zipper from sliding.

This fabric glue pen is awesome. Just enough tackiness to hold down fabrics but doesn't gum up my sewing machine needles at all. I mostly work with light to midweight knit and woven fabrics for clothes. Its a lifesaver for holding down slinky fabrics like modal. I can imagine this pen would not work for thick or high pile fabrics. Don't keep the cap off for long or it starts to dry out.
