Being totally dissatisfied with the crummy neck strap that came with my Aerophone Mini, I did an extensive online search for a replacement, and could not find anything that would fit over my head, and still be adjusted short enough for the Aerophone.I came across a previous review for this strap where a buyer shortened the cord about 6 inches and it worked well for his Aerophone. Based on that review I purchased it, and was not disappointed.When it arrived l cut off one end, and reassembled it leaving about 6 inches dangling in case I needed to extend it a bit. As it turned out, I needed to shorten it a little more. Once I had the strap working to my satisfaction, I gave the cord a squirt of super glue near the knot, and when dry cut off most of the excess cord. The super glue will prevent the cord from fraying.If you own an Aerophone or another small instrument you need this strap. It's easy to adjust with one hand, and very inexpensive. It makes playing my Aerophone Mini much more enjoyable.

I bought this because the plastic hook on the strap I was using with my curved soprano sax broke. This one has a plastic-covered metal hook with safety, a metal adjuster, and metal ends that hold the cord in the leather neck piece. No plastic parts to break!Curved soprano saxes take a shorter strap than a straight soprano. In addition to having all metal pieces where many straps use plastic, this one lets you shorten the cord if needed. I tied a new knot 4" up from the end of one side and cut off the excess cord. Its shortest position is great for curved soprano with about an inch of adjustment to spare. The longest position works well with my alto sax. It also has about an inch of extra adjustment. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Considering the quality of some other neck straps in this price range I bought this preparing for the worst and was pleasantly surprised when the neck strap seems very decent! Feels comfortable and holds up fine, and after a month there appears to be no significant wear.
