Bought this for my daughter who was experiencing elbow discomfort/hyper extension while doing gymnastics. While she doesn’t wear it all the time she does wear is occasionally when she has been experiencing more pain than normal. It fits her perfectly and does the job for offering additional support to her elbows.

I follow all sizing charts that are provided (some products don't provide sizing charts... They ALL should).I first bought an adult size, for which I measured my arm per the diagram/chart, but it was wayyyy tooo big. So, b/c I'm small in stature and not as muscular as I used to be, I opted to get the "youth" size. I spent 1.5 hours on Amazon again, in addition to the hour+ the previous effort, received the smaller size, but it was too small. Both products had size charts and I measured the circumference of my upper and lower arm right next to my elbow joint, and the result was right in the middle of the range. Yet, one was too big, this one was too small.

My 8-year old niece just learned to ride a bike. I knew if she fell over or crashed, she'd be okay as long as there weren't scrapes and blood. She didn't need those super hard-shell pads, just something to protect her elbows if she crashed. And crash she did a couple times while wearing them, with no injury. One day she was a little more confident and was hot so I reluctantly let her take them off and of course murphy's law kicked in and she fell and scraped her elbow. That was a showstopper for her...however it was a valuable object lesson and now she doesn't complain about them.

Perfect for kids or very very petite adults. Fits average sized kids 8-14 no problem.It didn’t seem clear from pictures but it comes with a Velcro removable pad that attaches inside the whole thing for additional padding. Depending on what you’re doing you may not need the extra padding.Both the top and bottom secure with Velcro - it can be slip on once adjusted but can also be strapped and unstrapped on both ends.

This works very well! Once on it doesn’t slip. I also like how these come with detachable elbow patches.
