This roof anchor lies hidden under the ridge caps with the d-rings exposed, you can clip a safety line into it and wear a harness for fall protection. This is a stainless steel version same as most others, appears to be the same quality level as others. make sure you find a rafter below the plywood to attach to. we recieved ours very promptly.

This is a fine roof anchor, made with good quality metal and well-designed. If you are a do-it-yourself like me, and you have to do frequent repair in the roof for whichever reason, I totally recommend to installing these permanent roof anchors to ensure your safety anytime you climb up to your roof.

These roof anchors are an excellent product. I don't have any way of securing a safety line to my roof so this unit fit the bill perfectly. I can now wander around my 2 story roof safely and with confidence.

Added to my roof when re-roofing. Adds a safety anchor point. Very handy when working on the roof or cleaning gutters. I painted mine black to match the shingles. Great quality.

The roof anchor came bent. If this is supposed to be an anchor how can it come bent from just shipping?

This is a very beefy over engineered strap. It is much larger than I expected from the picture.
