I like this battery. It is a big improvement over worn out OEM battery. It came charged and worked for hours draining to 2% as per instructions. It charges well. For the money it is exceptional value. The only negative is that the tools that come with it don’t work with the computer but I had my own tools…no big deal.

The batteries arrived on time. well packaged, and in good condition. ( I bought two. ) First, I want to say: It's important to "Prepare" these batteries for use! They do come with about 65% charge, but to ensure functionality, stability, and long life, you must take the initial easy steps which are outlined in the instruction sheet provided with each battery. Just after receiving my batteries, we lost power to the house, and I am very glad that I took the time to prep both batteries before use. Now prepared, I anticipate no future problems for the life of either battery. They both work very well. Highly Recommended!

This is the right battery for my HP dv6t-2100 laptop. Went so long without replacing my old battery. SO I finally decided to buy a new battery and it works great.

While this battery worked well for about six months, one day it suddenly wouldn't last 20 minutes. Ran a Windows battery report and saw full charge capacity is now 10k mWh, compared to the manufactured 56k mWh - a sixth of the original charge capacity! The email address and phone number for this seller seem to be out of service, so I was unable to receive assistance. Amazon even reached out directly on my behalf and didn't receive a response.I would recommend purchasing from a different seller. But this loss of charge capacity after about 6 months is a regular issue I've had with laptop batteries. I might suggest getting a 6-moth to 1-year warranty, but I've also had decent luck simply contacting other sellers and receiving a replacement, because no battery should die after 6 months...
