We have three of these for different fans. All are different model fans yet they work all of them perfectly. We have had these for years and have never had a problem and they are so easy to use. I would highly recommend this as a universal for a fan.

Bedroom ceiling fan stopped working suddenly. The fan wouldn't go above the lowest speed and the light wouldn't turn on. We came close to replacing the fan. I'm glad we tried this. We tried the new remote first before replacing the receiver in the fan, and I'm glad we did. The new remote did the trick. The fan is back to working again!!!

This remote is almost an exact replica of what came with the fan. It was a bit of a challenge (for me) to install but I got it done and it works fine.

It's a great remote. I have 1 that I've never had issues with and works great. My dogs got a hold of the 2nd bedroom remote so I replaced it. Nobody really used that bedroom till recently and we noticed a battery will last a week. I must have received a bad remote. I just want to swap for another one. But who do you contact? Ps... I see a bunch of comments about install and I'm confused.You put the batteries in and hit the button.Am I missing something?

Replacement receiver got a Fanimation fan working again. Less costly solution to buying a pair of fans. But I’d steer clear of fanimation based on others reports of receiver failures as well.

I purchased this to replace a fan controller that had died. This is exactly the same size and shape as the old controller. It went in easily and was easy to hook up. The remote is slightly different, this one has dip switches so you can choose what setting to use. This is extremely helpful when other fans in the house run on remotes. Just remember to change the controller in the fan first, before installing it, or you will end up pulling it back out. I keep the papers for each fan and note the dip switch settings so there are never any conflicts.

The product description for this item is not true. This model does not work if your fan reverses. By the time my electrician came out to install the receiver, the 30 day return period had expired and I was stuck with a useless part.

my makemodel: fanimation LP8068Purchased a house where my ceiling room fan would only supply light at the wall switch. I tried the fanimation bluetooth app on my phone but my fan must not have that control unit so I ordered this remote.Came in from Amazon in 2 days. Just got it today, 7/27/22. The remote comes with the control unit that could be installed inside the fan.Instead, I knew there were roughly 32 dipswitch combinations on the remote to program the radio frequency of the remote to the control unit already in my fan. I began with switch 1 up and worked my way through its combination of the 5 switches, no go. Did switch 2 up and its combinations, no go. The remote worked when I got the combination right with switch 3 and 5 up.I can now turn my fan lights/blades on and off from this remote. I put the control unit up to save if I ever need it (doubt it).Works great!

After adding the voice control unit tomy fan the old remote would notwork due to compatibility issues. This new remote solved the problem immediately.
