Nice quality and strong solid metal. I have been looking for an extra long basting brush for grilling. This one is great and don't get burned while trying to bast food on grill. Plus made of silicone so cleans up quickly. I bought two so I could give one to my mom for my dad to grill.

This is not my first silicon basting brushI have to say this is much longer, bigger, and heavier then what I expected!I think this is good to use when you BBQ outside.Although good for basting a turkey in the oven, you won’t get your hand burned so fast. This is long.I usually use a baster when I’m making a whole chicken, and bast withAvocado oil , then put my seasoning all over the chicken and it stays on. I’m also bakingA stand-up chicken in my oven, or on the bbq. But I’m not basting while it’s cooking.When I bake I use a basting brush to put butter , egg etc over my crust, before baking, this one is goingTo be to long, unless you bast in the hot oven.The silicon brush baster is soft and flexible.

This brush is a nice long silicone brush for use on the grill. It holds oil pretty well. The handle is comfortable enough, and the neck is metal, but it's much thinner than the metal used to make my Kitchen Aid brush (which is much shorter, btw).I do think this brush will last a long time if it's taken care of. It's suprisingly heavy for it's size, but it's not unweildy. I've tossed it in the dishwasher and it came out unscathed. I would probably buy it again.
