I've had an 8 qt Farberware pot for years, so when I needed a larger stockpot I knew I didn't need to look anywhere else to find what I needed. This one is lighter than my other one, which is nice, and doesn't have as thick a bottom. While I like the original, I like that the new one heats up faster. Pot heats quite evenly and so far has held up well,
