I was debating between Farmers Defense or a cheaper knock off, but as I have extremely sensitive skin and have an allergic like reaction of hives when too hot, breathability was a must and I decided these were the route to go.Not disappointed at all!-Breathable,- Light weight,- Stay put-Protected my arms not only from the sun, theheat, and dirt, but stood up against the wear and tear of leveling a row of retaining blocks.Doing that was the only reason my right arm (that did all the rolling, moving and pushing of theblocks) sleeve slid down.While weeding it stayed put no problem and my crazy sensitive skin was not bothered, scratched hurt or itched in any way. As you can see the sleeves were put their paces.My gloves fit easily over the arm protection sleeves without feeling bulky.If needed I will purchase another pair and definitely recommend!!!

There work great for older people who get skin tears when gardening. I have used them several times and did not get a cut at all. They will not prevent bruising. The material seems thick enough to hold up in the washing machine, and thin enough not to be too hot when wearing.

I ordered a large pair and I’m 6’ 180, w/large build, so the sizing is about perfect for me. Sleeves are plenty long enough to cover half of my hands, extending up to just over my biceps. Elastic binding on the upper end of the sleeves keeps them comfortably in place. And there’s a handy relief slot for my thumbs to extend out. They’re comfortable & great to use when doing yard work, especially if you need sun protection when doing weed whacking, and/or need to handle organic matter that might contain poison sumac or ivy oils. Mine are florescent lime so I also use them when I cycle in the early morning to provide a comfortable extension of my short sleeve jersey to buffer the chilly air. And after warming up, they fold up nicely and stow easily in the rear pockets of my cycling jersey. And they launder easily as well.

I just received my gardening sleeves. They fit well. They don’t sag and have just the right amount of tightness. I am excited to wear them in the garden and with short sleeve tshirts and still protect my arms from the sun

I ordered the size recommended by the sizing chart (10 1/12", small/medium), but the upper arm is too tight, and the sleeve is too short. I need upper arm coverage. That being said, if you don't have super sensitive fragile skin, the tightness might not bother you. Will be ordering large/extra large to see if that size works better for me. Material is 'ice silk' lycra swimsuit material, smooth to the touch, and feels cool against your skin. Well made; both arms match and are the same size (no bad manufacturing size differences here!). They do not have the coverage I need; they come just above my elbow. Good value; well known 'medical' brand of sun sleeves cost almost double. The color selection and patterns are amazing. I love this pattern with the butterflies.

Nice one-arm protection from sun while driving! And they work well with sheet sleeve shirts in the woods to fend off poison ivy. Could be a little thicker but I'd get them again.

These are awesome and exceeded my expectations. Besides them saving my arms from cuts and scratches I find myself leaving them on in the hot weather because how comfortable and cooling they are. I live in the south and get some weird looks but I knew if they knew how awesome these sleeves are then they are just jealous that they don’t have them. I’ve also been soaking them in different oils like mint and lavender to keep bugs away so it’s so much easier that spray bug spray on me all the time. Only complaint is how dirty they get but that is my own fault for wear them every timeI go outside to work so I just need to get a bunch more. I did get the seaweed design ones and was worried they looked to close to cannabis but as soon as I got them it was obvious that it was seaweed lol, so I don’t have to worried about that wearing them in public, and I LOVE SEAWEED so I think the design is amazing and unique!!! 10/10 would buy again even though I think they are a little expensive but they are more than worth the price.

Works well with cutting trees down, gardening, hauling stones, and excellent protection against the sun, I didn't have to use sunscreen on my arms all summer while doing yard work....PS I have 6 acres of land lots of yard work!
