I do oil changes for a living and many of the vehicles I work on have oil filters or drain plugs to the oil pan pretty close to the exhaust pipes. And a lot of the vehicles are driven from a location that gives the exhaust pipes enough time to heat up to the point they are hot enough that you could cook food with that amount of heat. These sleeves help keep my arms from accidentally making contact with the exhaust pipes while servicing a customer's vehicle. I have more than a few burn marks on my arms from doing this type of work, so I bought these sleeves to see if they would help and they do that very well.I feel like I am stretching out the upper half of the sleeve because I do have pretty broad arms but the sleeve still stays in place with the need to adjust it maybe once an hour or so. It isnt constantly sliding off or anything, but more of a personal preference on its placement on my arm.It breathes very well, and if there is an air flow, the air will cut right through it keeping your arm cool if you are part walrus like me and not fond of hot climate.In summary this is a good and functional product to reduce the risk of being burned on your arm when being subject to extremely hot things. I can not say anything about the cut resistance but If an incident comes up where I am potentially cut by something sharp I will gladly update this review to comment on the good or bad of how it handled the situation.

Very helpful preventing arm burns while cooking. A bit warm and too long, so I cuffed them. But, totally did the job. No more burns!

I have suffered for some time with getting bruising and skin tears resulting in bleeding on my forearms would be the result of the simplest bump or a hard rub on the arm. Isbaby arm sleeves are fantastic!!!!! Since I've started wearing them I have not had a bruise or a skin tear, and the bonus is (especially this time of year) is they keep my arms warm which in turn has kept my hands warm as well. Wish I had of found this product years ago!!!!!

My cat is bipolar and attacks my arms at night. I am now wearing it during the night... you do what you have to do right? It's comfortable enough. She tried to bite it few times and was surprised, she was not a fan of the taste and feel. Cats is pissed but I'm happy lol!

The pictures and description on the Amazon site are completely bogus. They claim they are 18" (46cm). They are only 8". They're useless as arm protectors. They would only be, at best, wrist protectors. I hate being deceived like this. They need to put the correct pictures and descriptions on the products. It's very maddening and a waste of time. We obviously returned them.
