I have not used as of yet. Purchased for sun protection. One aspect causing confusion was connecting the drawstring strap. It has to be connected to the reverse side planning to wear which means it will have to change it each time you want to wear the other side. The clips are small and a little difficult to press in. Being plastic I have concerns about the durability of changing the clips. The fit is comfortable. I like the pattern and color choice of 9navy blue. Also like the packable feature. The wire along the outside makes it nice to be able to adjust the brim. Looking forward to using this hat.

I love the wide brim of this hat! It keeps my face protected when I am outside, and literally that is why I bought this hat. Not disappointed in the least.

The hat itself is high quality, don't think about fully putting it on your head though as it is incredibly tight with no way to adjust the circumference.

this hat is fantastic. it can fold up small, and provides extra shade. it's large enough to put over a ponytail.it did get wrinkly in the wash, but was easy to iron. i get complements on it all the time.

I'm 5'10" and my head is proportional to my body. Not an XL but definitely not a petite/small. I would say Large. This hat fit perfectly! I'm not a "hat person" normally but I have some slight sun damage on my cheeks now and have to wear one on a boat or at the beach. This hat shaded my whole face yay! Also it was adorable! It didn't smell bad and came neatly folded and not too wrinkled, so I didn't wash it. I don't know the affect that would have on it. It fits just like it does on the model on me, a pleasant surprise since I assume she is petite. I was hesitant to buy this hat solely due to the lack of size information (that I could understand, measurements don't mean a lot with a hat to me) . Now I'm glad I did. I was looking for a bucket style hat with a wider brim, and that does describe this hat. It arrived crumpled up, and has a little bit of bendy wire in the outside lip of the brim, so you have to bend it a bit to get it to the shape you want and then leave it hanging in that shape (on the string they include in the package). I believe it would be reversible easily, but I am not sure how reliably it will wash up given all these factors.However, it is definitely thick enough to cover you from sun exposure around the face and neck. You can angle the brim in such a way as to block sun from different directions using the bendy wire to shape it. I don't know how hot it would be at high noon on a mid summer day, but hey, everything in life is a tradeoff somewhere. I like it.

My head (measured around tempel area) is 22.5 inches and the hat is even a little loose. I would prefer it a bit tighter but maybe after a wash it will shrink. The brim covers your face better than any hat i have ever seen. Great to protect your skin from sun damage. It can folded but i was able to reshape the wire brim easily. I will also steam or iron the hat then take a picture for this review.

I love this hat, nice super adjustable brim, will def keep the sun out of my face (I am a redhead so this is a must for me as even my lips burn, sigh), good quality material, super neat that it reverses, good fit, comes with a tie so if you wish to tighten it, you can. Pretty nifty, really. The only bad thing, and hence the 4 stars, is that it smells. I have never, ever complained about the smell of something I've purchased on-line before, but this smell is fairly strong. I will have to wash it before I use it for sure. Thank good ness it is a hand-washable item. Hoping the hand wash rids the smell....don't want people thinking it's me on my vacay ;-)

Reversible and covers most of face depending how you wear it. Do not wash in washing machine since it ruins the shape! By hand only and let dry. Great for everyday and easy to pack in suitcase

The hat is constructed well, but is too small.I'm short and Asian and presumed it would fit my proportionate head it does not.Currently googling "how to stretch a canvas hat" wish me luck.Fyi there are 3 holes left on a standard baseball cap when I wear it a little loose. Hope that helps sizing up my head.
