I appreciate the size, simple beauty and quality of this hat. I purchased it for its size, to wear it while working in an Atlanta, Georgia community garden, during Summer 2024. I enjoyed the sun-protection it provides so much that I wore it during errands (grocery shopping, to my post office box and etc.), too. Often, I received humorous compliments about this hat because it is so beautifully large. Now, I have two; one for gardening and one for leisure events.

This is my go-to travel hat. It folds down in my suitcase, which does leave it a little creased, but I'm not that picky, the creases fade with time. I have gotten tons of compliments on it--specifically on the size. The brim has metal wire in it which helps with the shaping and re-shaping. The size of it is great, and it's almost like a wearable umbrella.

I am a big hat, girl! I loved this hat for my vacation to Thailand. They do come very wrinkly, and you do have to iron out the wrinkles, but, it didn’t bother me much. This hat is very big, when I put my arms up in the air, the hat comes off lol. It has huge surface area so if you’re looking for something to truly block the sun from your entire body, this is the hat. I personally just got it for photo purposes, and it was very flattering on me and I can’t wait to wear it again. Not really functional if you plan to be moving around and being active and making sure your hat stays on. Great for lounging at the beach.

This hat was nice and served its purpose of keeping the sun rays off of me. It has a super wide brim and is made of a light, not too heavy straw material so it doesn’t cause sweating. My only issue is that it was a little big, even with my braids. I had to hold it down to keep it from blowing off my head. Otherwise, perfect for my trip to Grenada.

This is an amazing costume hat. It does have a wire in the brim, to hold its shape.You do need to steam it out, to get rid of the wrinkles as it is folded during the shipping.We found that rolling the brim on one side as it is shown in the product photos, makes it hold its shape very well and creates a very attractive profile.Super happy with this hat!

I ironed it with a steamer on the highest setting but was never able to get the creases out. It looks a bit awkward and cheap

I have very sensitive skin, wearing this helps ward off the sun and decreases my chances of sun damage.
