I’ve started drafting my own patterns for art and textile projects. I grew weary of rustling around trying to find the right curve on my dressmaker ruler. Bought this set and could not be more pleased! Everything you need is right here and at a great price. The selection is terrific. I wish I had bought this set years ago. I purchased this set when I was looking to make a mermaid skirt and didn’t know anything about making patterns. I was very useful. I did purchase a French curve ruler that was a bit longer but this is a perfect beginner set in my opinion.

So many variety of measurements and shapes. From button holes, to neckline, shoulder sleeves, bottoms, etc. these will be extremely helpful in the pattern making process.They are a little flimsy so I took off one star but for the price and amount of rulers they provide actually makes up for that part. Otherwise they still work the same and function properly. Not sure if they break easily or not but will update once I use them.I also love how they all came individually wrapped and protected.

The rulers are made of a thin, flexible plastic, they are stiff enough for easy tracing and pattern modification. the printing is crisp and clear and the measurements are accurate. They come in a nice pouch to keep them all together, be careful opening your package so that you don’t accidentally cut through the pouch. I am very, very happy with the value and don’t know why it took me so long to buy this set.

Good basic set to get started learning to draft patterns. The rulers are possibly a little smaller than I expected but should be okay.

As artist/fashion designer, this type of measuring device is my go-to, my college professional version have lasted well for 60 years They are my go-to..preferable to any other, as see thru is so versatile and easy to use. My sturdy professional set has lasted 60 years with continual use. Few have cm/mm markings. and are finally showing wear and tear, one recently cracked/broke. Most of my curves are large and metal, and I wanted to expand the variety I have in plastic.This set is not 'professional' about half the price of professional grade. They are thinner, but more flexible and I think unlikely to break if used with care. Being thinner they can be slightly easier to use as strait edge with pencil/pen/or exacto with care. They appear to be accurate.However, one star off as some of the print was missing from the set I received... indicating that it is not 'baked in', and with use can wear away. Also, some are in inches without cm/mm, others are only cm/mm... only 1 item is both which is what at I wanted.For beginners or low use this might be an Ok, affordable set.
