Exactly what I expected. I had already looked at this in the fabric store so I knew what I was ordering. The great thing about the clear ruler is that you are able to see the fabric pattern so you can line your actual pattern up perfectly.

This is my first sewing ruler.When I first received it, the ruler came with a slight bend, which did not allow it to lay flat.I found that annoying so i used a heat gun, heated to about 300° F, and pressed down on the sewing ruler with some weights and heated it for several minutes, evenly heating the entire ruler.After that, I let it cool for about 15 minutes, for it to settle into its new flat shape.This is the first time I did this technique and it worked--perfectly flat ruler.Other than that, I like the two-tone markings and numbers, which allows you to see the markings and numbers in dark and light fabric without issue, and the hole at the top to allow you to hang the ruler.

This is a great sewing / quilting ruler I'll be using for years to come. Its perfect for my small and large projects. I primarily make scrunchies and sunglasses cases for markets and this is the perfect size to create them if I don't have my templates at the ready.

I didn't think I could get so excited over something like a ruler, but I am. It's a nice wide clear ruler that has numbers printed in Both white and black, making it easy to read on light And dark fabrics. I just wish it had cm printed on one side. Highly recommended.
