I lost my old 6-inch ruler, and sure enough, found it after these came in. It's easy to use to measure things, such as some bowls I'm trying to match. But, go for something with a piece of cork on the bottom if you want to draw lines, as this lies flat on the paper and smears everything. All in all, a good buy, and I will use it a lot.

Both sides are identical, would have been much more convenient to have one side with centimeters on the top edge, inches on the bottom and vice-versa.Otherwise the two have been alright.

Listing showed photo of placement of cm and inches, but I purchased anyway. Would have preferred cm to begin on opposite side, but then ruler would have to be redesigned with a straight edge at both ends. Good value for money as it meets my needs,
