Super easy to install. The coiled cord is a great upgrade to the previously installed switch. My old switch broke during yearly testing, so I replaced with this.

I purchased the 6 foot version and it worked great for my travel trailer. I like this much more than the steel cable break away lanyard that came with the trailer.

Easy to install! The breakaway cable and caribeaner are excellent quality and hooked directly to my F150's tow chain eyelet with no modification. This was an quick and easy fix for my old breakaway switch that no longer was sending power to the breaking system.

Very nice breakaway switch. The coiled cable keeps the clip from touching the ground. It is a vast improvement to the mess we had before. It was unsightly and embarrassing. I did fill the cavity behind the pin with a good quality silicone based dielectric grease to keep the internals from corroding.

This is a well constructed switch and lanyard. However, the wire gauge is too small. A breakway switch carries current to the brake pump if the switch is closed. My brake pump specs at least 14 gauge wire for the breakaway power lead. I think this switch has 16 gauge wire. It would also be nice if the wire were tinned for corrosion resistance.

Easy install, doesn't matter which wire connects to either wires from trailer.Coil cable is reason why I purchased. Tired of dealing with hanging old style breakaway wire.Red wire diameter coils up about the size of a quarter or a bit smaller and more than long enough to attachto your vehicle

Very easy to install, all wires were long enough to reach the junction box, and the coiled breakaway cable is a great idea way to keep it out of way. I tested it and it worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

I rent out my trailer and use it my self. The problem was that the break away cable was always breaking and being damaged. I bought this to idiot proof the trailer and make the ease of use better. Install took literally 5 minutes as I was replacing an existing system. Works well and my clients are happy too.
