works great. I bought it to hide the crumbling back panel of my fireplace but got the added benefit of it really increasing the heat output of my fireplace. It was an inch or two too high...the damper would hit it when closing, even before installing the little legs so I simply cut a little notch in it with the metal blade in my saw and set it back in without installing the little legs. It stands up fine on its own and you would have to stick your head in the fireplace and look up to see the notch.

I really did not see any difference in The fire warmth using this. The quality seems OK but the effectiveness was lacking.

The Fireback does what it is intended to do. It is not a whole house conditioning system, that wasn’t expected. It does radiate heat back into my living room to make it cozy enough while being around the fireplace. The cold outside or how drafty your house is will dictate it’s effectiveness. If you have a good fire burning the heat is felt even more. I would definitely purchase it again if needed.

The product works as advertised. I was happy that it is reflecting heat back into the room. Easy to assemble and install.
