I live on a corner lot. Twice a year or so I pressure wash the long sidewalk and this cart works great. The air tires roll easily over my bumpy lawn right to the hose connection. As I wash the sidewalk I pull out the hose and move the pressure washer. When I am done I am able to roll the hose on the hose reel and back into the garage. Assembly wasn't too bad but the tires were dead on arrival (would not hold air.) Got a credit from Amazon and I bought new tubes and re-inflated the tires. So far so good. By the way I use an anti rust spray inside the tubular frame to prevent rust. I keep this dry in my garage when not in use.

This was the easiest to install of any project I have ever encountered. In addition, the parts were all top quality including brass fittings. Simple and well made.

The hose reel cart came with one flat tire but customer service took care of the problem. The cart itself works as it should.

This item was easy to assemble and made out of metal that seems fairly solid, so I was initially excited, but the piece that holds the wheel in place is thin metal and broke without any action other than winding the hose.

Seems like a nice quality product and the instructions were easy to follow. I am a 69 year old woman and was able to assemble it myself in around 2 hours but this also included coming up with the workarounds to assemble it myself and some minor dissembly, fixing my mistakes, like forgetting the washers in some places. 😀 I chose not to install the basket and reversed where the direction the turn handle was installed so I would have a closer taller handle to hang onto when rolling up my hose (see picture of alternate assembly). The instructions say you need two people but if you have tape and rubber bands or strings, you can hold the pieces in place without needing a second person (see pictures). I just cut away the restraining materials before the final tightening. I used needle nose pliers for the pins holding the tires on. I also used regular pliers to bend the pin legs in. I used a regular adjustible wrench where there was space but some of the places were tight like where the hose wheel attaches to the holding bars. Having small hands helped to get the hex nuts screwed on initially. All in all, very happy with this hose caddy.

This does organize the hose, but it has a few failures. The connection between the reel pigtail and the hose you are winding on, is at such an angle that it kinks the hose restricting the flow rate. I haven't figured out how this is going to be remedied by me.Well, I figured it out, I used a female PVC hose connector then a right angle slip connector a short straight and a male hose connector, this got the connection tangential to the drum so the hose isn't kinked. But, i discovered that the paint is coming off the drum in sheets. So, now I have another problem. This was caused by the fact that the hose sweats when in use. That moisture is trapped against the drum and causes rust under the paint layer making it flake off. The only way to solve that is to unreal all the hose off the reel every time you want to use it.It would be nice if the reel was mounted at right angles to it's current mounting. That would allow you to hold down the end of the hose then walk away, spiraling the hose out behind you as you push the reel. As it is, you have to unreel some hose, move the reel, unreel some more hose, or just manually drag the hose out on to the lawn while leaving the reel at the water hydrant. A simple brake would keep the reel in place if you needed to manually unreel the hose. Also, it would benefit by repositioning the crank. As it is, the crank is low enough that one needs to bend over at the waist while cranking-in and guiding the hose to wrap on the reel in a good pattern. I would like to be able to stand up while cranking, a simple bicycle chain and sprocket on a column would solve that. It could be put on the handle end (if the reel orientation is not changed) or raised above the reel with a tubular support.Other than that, it does what it says it will do.

This thing is a beast. Assembly is not the easiest, mainly because the instructions look like they're hand drawn and very confusing. A lot of trial and error during the assembly process. My biggest problem with this is, the connector piece that attaches the spigot hose to the real is not made with stainless steel and therefore rusts on the inside. So, when you go to run water, the first three minutes or so, you get nothing but rusty, discolored water. Since we fill a lot of wash buckets, it's pretty unsightly and disappointing.

The garden hose unit carries more hose than I need around the yard on pneumatic tires, both unwind and winds easily. It's built well and looks great and i can put lots of hose on it. The supplied plumbing and parts connected up easily and produced a good working unit that can be stored to hold the hose right beside the outside tap. Very nice product.

I was concerned about this reel from some of the reviews. I am happy to report mine came in good condition, all tires pumped, no leaks, no bends. It took about an hour to put together but that's because I greased everying including the fasteners. I dont think they are stainless. I plan to replace them with stainless at some point soon. There are also no leaks. It seems good. There are bearings for the wheels and on the crank end of the reel which is a nice touch. Not too much to say about it as I just built it and reeled the hose on to it and got it and running. The tires are tube tires so if there is a flat they can be repaired. although the hub is plastic so it would take some care not to damage it getting the tire off. Then the tube can be patched or replaced. Hopefuly I wont need to do that. If anything significant changes I will update this post.
