I replaced the temp sensor on the wife's 2016 Explorer with 3.5 Duratec even though I knew in the back of my mind the water pump was truly the culprit of its recent overheating issue.You have to remove both the upper and lower intakes to get to the sensor so these are a must.I've always trusted Fel-pro and these worked just as well as I expected.I ended up replacing the water pump after all and threw it back together with Motorcraft gaskets just because I bought everything from Ford at one time.I would have no issue using this gasket set again however.
