Replace my intake manifold gasket on my 2015 Jeep Patriot 2.4L. Had a Check Engine Code P2173, throttle actuator control system has detected high airflow. Had previously had replaced the throttle body with gasket, but code didn’t clear. So I went ahead and sprayed the intake manifold carefully with carb cleaner until I found the manifold and engine head area started surging Rpms when sprayed, found the issue replaced and fixed my problem.

Had a leaking intake gasket on my 2014 Jeep Patriot, the actual task of removing the old one was a pain but once I got through that, installing the new one was simple and a perfect fit! It fixed my leak and the check engine light went away. Word of advice, make sure you check your intake gasket before replacing your throttle body!

This gasket is obviously of super-high quality. I am 40, and have worked on my own vehicles my whole life... I can tell you from experience, we are definitely in an era of innovation with advanced materials and ideas. I haven't installed the gasket yet, but I am looking forward to cleaning out the intake manifold and reinstalling it with this fresh new "perfect-fitting" gasket.
