I installed this on a 2003 SVT Focus while doing a timing belt replacement. I felt like this kit was an excellent value for the price since it included not only the valve cover gasket but also the grommets for the screws that hold the valve cover down. My OEM gasket was definitely worn out and was letting oil seep down onto my spark plugs. I've put ~1k miles on this since the time of installation and am very happy with my purchase. No leaks or signs of oil anywhere.

Just as good as OEM and a fraction of the price. Hard to go wrong. Be sure to use a torque wrench on your valve cover bolts to minimize your chance of leaks.

This fit my 2003 Ford Focus SVT. There were two different set of rubber grommets for the bolts included. I used the ones that looked the most like the ones I removed. It appeared either set of grommets would have worked from their fitment when I compared the them. My valve cover is no longer leaking oil down the side of the engine. Yay! My manual said to torque at 2 nm then 7 nm for the final torque. 7 nm is about 61 inch pounds or 5 foot pounds.

This is an excellent valve cover seal. As good or better than the seal from Ford at a fraction of the price.For those asking in the questions section, this fits the SVT / ST170 engines. It will NOT fit a zetec or a duratec engine.A piece of advice when installing the seal, do not use any additional sealant/RTV if you can avoid it. Firmly press the gasket into the valve cover and carefully set the valve cover on top of the head. If the gasket keeps falling out and you can't place it, use just a few dabs of RTV in the places where it falls out to hold it in place.
