I have a Fender Jazz and wanted to protect my investment. I play in a band on weekends and we travel about 100-200 miles to gig. Sometimes the bass rides with me in the truck and sometimes it rides in the trailer. I have three basses but the rest are in gig bags. The Fender is my best bass and it is the one I use the most. This case was purchased in case something lands on it in the trailer. I have had damage to other guitars this way but this hardshell case will eliminate that from happening. There is ample storage for my tuner and other small items I use. The fit was perfect for the jazz and I am pleased with the construction of the case. It is a little spendy but then so is what is protected inside. When I was a kid in the 80's, my 78' Richenbacher was run over by two vehicles by accident and it was in a hard shell case. The guitar lived, believe it or not, so I have always been a fan of hard shell cases.

This is my second molded bass case from Fender—the first one was included with the purchase of my first American Professional P bass. The case is a perfect glove fit with a plush inside lining that feels luxuriously plush. Super soft and cozy for your instrument. You will definitely want to remove your strap every time you put your bass in it. The storage space has plenty of room for a couple of cables, strap and 3-4 pedals. Be mindful of the height of your pedal knobs; there isn’t much headroom in the enclosure and it’s located under the neck.The case is perfect for traveling or in situations where you *know* your bass may be banged or moved around frequently (including cars). It is not light, and it definitely “takes up space.†Great for gigs and traveling.Cumbersome, bulky, but super secure and high quality. Recommended!

This case exceeded all expectations. It is lighter than the previous generation of fender deluxe hard cases, has a nicer looking and feeling interior, and better protection for the hinges with the added feet. These also help keep it from being knocked over when you set it on end. The split between the lid and the bottom is also closer to 50/50 which allows for the lid to be thicker and better protect the top. Latches are super smooth and have a recess to prevent accidental opening. Worth every penny.

I bought this to replace a case that was damaged during a flight. My bass (Fender w/ P neck and Jazz body) is very snug and secure. The construction is solid. I’ll provide an update after my flight home.***Update 10/19***Case and guitar arrived without a scratch, ding, dent, or mark. This is THE case you want for a Fender Precision or Jazz bass. Air travel is inherently dangerous for musical instruments, and I’m not sure I’ll risk flying again. This is the best protection you can get in this price range though.

Any Fender Jazz, P, Dimension or Roscoe Beck models fit well in these. Worth the extra money.

Very sturdy case with an inlay that fits my bass perfectly. I'm happy to see they put the handle slightly off center to offset the weight of the body of the bass, making it easier to carry.i do wish they would've put rubber feet on it so the case itself wouldn't scratch when putting it down

I recently purchased a Sire V7 5 string and as the Sire hard case was out of stock, had to look for an alternative. While not inexpensive, this is a superb case, beautifully made and without question, extremely protective. It's a great fit for my bass and I'd certainly suggest those with similar Jazz/Precision style basses who are looking for an excellent case without the £200 + price tag, give this a look as it's worth every penny.

Case qui était prometteur sur le papier, et moins chère qu’un SKB qui est la référence.Bon…C’est beau, c’est bien rembourré, c’est bien pensé.Mais quand au bout d’un mois, la mousse interne supérieure se détache, car les points de colle interne entre la mousse et la coque rigide se ont laché, sur une partie qui n’a aucune contrainte physique, et bien ça donne pas la part belle à la qualité de fabrication…C’est facilement réparable, mais à 159€, on attend que ce type de surprise arrive, au moins, au bout de quelques années d’utilisation..Je suis peu être tombé sur le mauvais, mais ça ne me donne pas trop envie de le conseiller.Avec SKB : pas de soucis, mais 50€ plus chère.A vous de choisir

Fender makes a great case, and the materials and clasp hardware on this are no exception. I have a Yamaha bass - 43.5" long, and this case fit it with ample room to spare. The inside length is 46.75" from end padding to end padding. The storage cubby is huge! With the quality of build on the case, I expect this to last plenty long enough to be a family heirloom.
