This three-ply black pickguard fits five-string American, American Standard, Standard and Deluxe series Jazz Bass models (does not fit four-string models). Mounting hardware not included.

My Bass has a Warmoth neck, which is a hair wider than the standard Fender Jazz V neck, so I had to do some VERY minor sanding to get the fit perfect. Also, the pickguard is laminated with a bit of white trim showing around the edge. I wanted an all black look, so I blacked out the bit of white trim before I put the pickguard on my Bass. I am very pleased with the end result.

I bought it to go on a black squire 5 string jazz bass but it did not fit. However it did fit my 1995 sunburst American Standard 5 string Jazz bass and has resulted in many compliments and questions about my "new" bass. It's like going from a platinum blonde to a brunette, so most people notice.
