The 25-year old screws in my guitar had started to corrode. I replaced them all with these genuine Fender screws and they freshened up the look of my guitar. Simple remove and replace!

This work great, and fit a Fender perfectly. Avoid the non-Fender versions that will have compatibility issues.

These Fender machined pickup and switch screws are just the right product to mount pickups and your 3 or 5 way switch to the backface of your pickguard on your guitar rework or build. Some applications may require shortening of the screws, which may be accomplished with an electrician's plier, which has the holes in the tool, several sizes, which are made to screw a machine screw into and then use the plier action to pinch (cut) the screw while allowing you to then unscrew the screw to reshape the thread for use, if you don't want to use a file afterward to make it thread back on a nut. It usually will leave the thread intact enough to use after shortening it by this method.

They are Fender screws. I use them on Fender copies which tend to have smaller, cheaper screws.

These are nice. They definitely are genuine Fender replacement parts but they're are overpriced, as most Fender replacement parts tend to be. You can go to any home improvement store and pay half the price of these for twice as many screws. The only benefit these have over generic ones at Lowe's is these are polished, whereas the screws I found are more of a matte finish. But they look fine once they're in the guitar. I didn't even bother opening these.

Fender original parts can't be beat. The Philips head is an improvement over the "vintage" straight slot screw that a screwdriver can slip out of and scratch the finish. These look like the have a nickel plating and I believe are 8-18, or 6-18 size screw and are much cheaper at a hardware store, but I chose Fender original parts for the Tele I recently finished and for the one I am currently working on.
