This pickguard fit my Fender Precision bass perfectly. The only modification I made was to grind out the semicircle under the neck for access to the torsion rod. I used the original tortoiseshell pickguard as a template and a dremel tool .

Seems like it will fit, but the description says Country of Origin - USA and bag says MiM; description shows truss rod cutout and "Same pickguards as used on actual production models", there is also pictured thumb rest holes. As pictured, there is no truss rod cutout or thumb rest holes.

Most cutouts were good but the tail did not cover the vol/tone cavity entirely. Also there were no holes punched for the thumb rest.The 3-ply layers were shallow.The $43 price was comparable only to the $15 pickguard displayed else where on Amazon.If you're wanting to restore a vintage Fender P-bass, this is no the product you want.

I assembled a partscaster P-Bass and purchased this pickguard. It fit perfectly! Since it's a Fender ist cost a little more but my project was all Fender parts so why take a chance.

I have a fender precision bass, and I had to grind the neck down a bit to get it to fit (not much, but it was just enough off I couldn't get it to work). The quality is mostly fine, the finish they put on top was coming off a bit, and it was already pretty scratched up when I got it.

If you plan to add Duncan 1/4 pounders or any other aftermarket PU, you will have to use a knife and a dremel tool to enlarge the PU cutout. If they made the cutout 1mm larger, it would work with everything. This is an issue you will find mentioned in online searches.
