I used the magnets to attach a the super metal frame for blinds to a metal door. It worked great and after a month they still are attached without problems. These magnets are very strong and for my use worked well. I should not the adhesive appeared to be weaker than the magnets, so I reinforced it with gorilla glue.

I wanted some strong magnets that were really durable and these certainly fit the bill. I bought a neodymium magnet, but it was a total disappointment. It was supposed to be nearly as strong as an MRI magnet. What a total joke. These are quite strong and very durable, unlike neodymium magnets which can break so easily. They have this black powdery substance on them which sticks to the fingers so clean them up before use. After doing so you'll be able to see your own fingerprints on them when you touch them. These are made in china.

These were purpose bought to prop metal doors at work ajar without them having to be unlocked to allow easy entry during business hours. They do this flawlessly as they are thick enough when placed near the door jamb to keep the lock from catching. The magnets themselves are strong. There is no finish, just bare metal. The edges are unrounded to the point that the corners can cut skin if care isn't used when handling them. I initially pinched my fingers a few times when taking them out of the box they are so strong.
