This gate lock is exactly what we've been looking for. We had our gate unlocked for the longest time and it was always at the back of my mind. This affordable and sturdy lock was worth every penny for a lot of peace of mind.At first, I was worried it would be too big to fit through the lock hole, but I discovered you can remove the black rubber end at the end of the lock and just put it back on once you've looped it through your gate's lock hole. I did this and it is a PERFECT fit. Furthermore, it's incredibly sturdy and no one would be able to break through the lock WITHOUT breaking the actual fence. It also comes with two keys which is great for my husband and me. We're super happy with this purchase. :)

If you're looking for a large thick lock, this is it. The look alone will deter folks. If you have a standard fence latch, it might be problematic for you. The lock is covered with rubber making it difficult, but not impossible for use on standard fence latches. I put it through the latch but had a difficult time removing and it tore through the protective rubber coating. I liked it so much I used it for my protective cage covering my AC unit. I think I'll be fine with weatherproofing.

The locks were fine. The shackles are too big in diameter to fit where they were intended to be used.

Ich habe Vorhängeschlösser mit 10 mm Bügel und Wasserdicht benötigt. Da der Dichtungsring nicht am Schloss sondern am Bügel befestigt ist, musste ich diese abmachen um mit dem Bügel durch die Einhängeöse zu kommen. Im Winter werde ich diese Dichtungsringe wieder anbringen, wenn die Schlösser über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt werden.

All the coatings and caps do not stop water getting in and pushing the bottom cap off. Very disappointing
