After a series of failures in purchasing the MPR 2200 filters (see review here ), I decided to scale down to the MPR 1900 filters to see if this line has fallen off similar to the "higher" grade.A few weeks into using this new filter at our condo, and so far, it appears to function as advertised. My wife and I see a little more particle flow than what we used to experience from the 2200 (during its functional days), but overall, does what we would expect of it. The packaging seemed in line with the Amazon listing. No complaints as of yet, but we will continue to monitor and update in a month or so.UPDATE: After an additional few weeks, the filter was still growing strong without much fade in the performance! Definitely a fan of this filter and our system seems to work less to execute the same results as the 2200 (when it was properly functioning), and that translates to lower electricity costs so a double win! All of that said, on the recommendation of a recent HVAC cleaning, going to give an electrostatic filter a go to compare results...

The dry summer drought was an issue with our puppy wanting to dig in his kennel area. What a dusty mess he was when he came into the house. When we changed the filter recently, it was full of this dust! We are so glad it is raining and out puppy stopped digging!! Our house will definitely stay cleaner longer!

Want the whole house smelling fresher without buying an air purifier?The only thing missing with these is some carbon.Note:- be sure your air handling unit can handle the extra resistance without burning out, and change them more frequently than necessary to keep the air flow resistance down.- Using these may also void your air handler's warranty.
