Well made and at fine tolerance. Very good value. Useful to splice very, very, very small wires without soldering. Far superior to "wire nuts" that tend to loosen..

They will not fit 4awg wire. AWG 8 is the the biggest I could fit. Using to extend amp wire. Can't use ferrals with these just the bare wire which could rip or tear if it would get caught up on something.

I got these Fineday wire connectors intending to using them for some of my off-grid shed low voltage work. While I think they will be nice for some of the smaller wiring, I don't think they would be good for large wires. The are just too short to get much stripped wire in and feel that it would be secure. That said, these are well machined and the kit is handy for quick repair projects. But I would not suggest using them for high current or critical applications.MY SCALE: âââââ Highly Recommend ââââ Good, Recommended-but maybe check others also âââ Look around, but this will do the basic job
