Three different sizes for various gauge wires on my boat. Simply use pliers to press the blade into the conductors. No cutting is required! The blade is metal so you can easily take a voltage or resistance reading with your volt meter to ensure everything is OK. Then, the tab wraps around the connector preventing accidental contact. It locks with a distinctive click. I was able to connect my 25 watt Marine VHF Radio in just a few minutes without disturbing the wiring harness inside the console. Works well!

Plastic could use a bit more heft to it but for what I paid its going to work just fine.

Reliably re-connected landscape spotlight to old 10-12 AWG Landscape wire in a minute. Solder or wire-nut options were next to impossible. Don't believe bad reviews that were likely either written by folks with little do-it-yourself skills or by higher priced competitors.

You’d spend 4 times this much if bought in big box store. Highly recommended.Tom S

Bought this kit for the various sizes, ended up buying more yellow ones. That's the size I used most...

First of all, I am all for splicing, soldering and heat shrinking connections where I am able. I just did an alarm install on a car and did as many soldered splices as I could, but there are just some areas where I had no choice but to use these quick splices - some due to location with absolutely no room to get a soldering iron in or some wires that were thick gauge or ones I couldn't cut down for certain reasons. Nonetheless, these were perfect and the install went fast. The only complaint I have about these is how difficult it is to separate the two halves in order to get the wire down the one side, I had to pry it open a little with a screwdriver. Another one the blade bent when going to make the splice but I think I had the wrong angle on the tool I was using because that was the only one that bent. Overall, I will use these again in other upcoming projects.

spliced the thinnest wires I have ever seen to thicker wires that are normal. Without these I would never have been able to connect them.

La calidad del plástico es mediocre, los acabados son muy malos y el funcionamiento es deficiente, ya que con frecuencia las laminillas metálicas se doblan al prensarlos con las pinzas. Busca unos de mejor calidad
