This is just what we needed to prevent draft from coming in from our fireplace. Provides perfect insulation. It’s so easy to install because it’s magnetic, lightweight yet thick material. Drafts through the fireplace were making my already cold basement even colder. I measured to ensure I got the right size, and it's a perfect fit. Nice strong magnets so I don't feel any cold air coming in around the edges. The main insulation does the job too.

Didn't realize until I got this how much heat we were actually losing out of our fireplace. Works great and we are pleased with the construction, quality and insulation ability. The fabric weight is perfect. Magnets are phenomenal, very grippy and it sticks well to the metal inside the fireplace. Good value and highly recommended.

It's been a life-saver for our furnace heat! Our fireplace surround is made of Bedford Stone, so we knew it wouldn't be able to completely seal up the firebox...but it works very well. The magnets are strong & it fits our existing metal screen very well. Only downside: the thing comes FOLDED. Which means, wherever there's a fold-seam, it won't adhere flush to the metal. I wish they would craft these, ROLL THEM, and mail them in a tube. The product could accomplish much more of what it is designed to do, if so.

Been working to winterize my home with my double sided fireplace. I didn't even know these were an option! I didn't iron mine, but even wrinkled they look nice. Really like the magnets they attach quickly and firmly. I agree with other reviews that there should be more to minimize gaps. But overall it seems to be blocking the cold air from coming into my home with a cover that seems to be a thin material that works well

I can honestly say that purchasing this product was well worth the money. I’m quite sure there’s others that are more/less expensive but this one is a great fit for me. I actually steam ironed it after removing from the packaging. I needed about an inch to fit perfectly on the sides and because of the wrinkles I felt that it would stretch. It appears to be a little long but after install it made a huge difference in the room temperature. No more cold air coming through the fireplace…the blanket blocked 98% of it. I’ll stretch it more to get the bulk out…and to cover the small gaps on the sides….but overall I’m happy with the product.

This Item fits my zero clearance fireplace perfectly. Magnets are strong with very minimal gaps between them. I had magnet vent covers in place prior to this but still had a large draft through the main firebox. This item stopped that and looks nice as well.

It's been a cold winter and I wanted to block another draft I found in my house coming from the fireplace Unfortunately, this fireplace cover is about a 1/2 inch, maybe 1.5cm shorter than it needs to be for my fireplace. If I push pull it a little closer to one side, the other side lets a draft through. I fiddled with this cover for more than an hour trying to maximize it's stretch. It does measure 39 inches across. However, the frilly silly protective part is in that measurement. It's just not wide enough - it fits perfectly up and down. I bought this because it was Amazon's choice highly reviewed item on 2/5/25. My fall and former winter jacket with magnets provide better protection. Maybe this will fit your metal fireplace perfectly, but it the 39 inch measurement needs a little more thermal material to block drafts at my house.

Product fits well and works as intendedBe careful when ordering as there is a mix up in the size selections. When you click on a size, it changes the size in the item description and they are not the same! What will ship is the size in the item description so make sure you are ordering the right size. I had to order twice and return one.
