This item is very well built and easy to assemble. This is the best firewood rack I have ever purchased. I have three others that are very good but this one is the best. Very happy with my purchase

Dislikes: The instruction manual says that you will need a Phillips screwdriver but you don't. They provide two small 10mm wrenches which is a nice touch but they are pretty cheesy. Instead I used one 10mm box wrench and one 10mm socket wrench and it made things go a lot faster. I would urge you to tighten the nuts down to a "tight" fit but don't go beyond that as the thinwall tubing will easily crush.Likes: The instruction manual is clear and the illustrations are an added benefit. The parts fit together well. The instructions suggest having a second person to assist and that will make it easier to assemble but it is not required; it will just take you a little bit longer to do it by yourself.I love the fact that it's modular because I overestimated the space I had available for the rack and instead of having 8 feet available I only had 6, so all I had to do was leave off the final 2 foot section and I was fine. I kept those parts in the box so if I ever shift things around under the patio cover I can add the remaining 2 feet if needed.I'm a woodturner, specializing in mesquite. When I get wood it is normally freshly cut within the hour and is still full of moisture (and heavy!). This firewood rack will be helpful in improving the air flow under and around the wood to help with the drying process versus how I just had everything laying on the pallet deck previously. It also takes up less room on this rack than when it was on the deck. I did detect a slight bowing of the vertical arms so I will probably take some cable and a turnbuckle and tighten this up a bit to keep the vertical pieces more vertical instead of being splayed out. But if you're using this to store dried firewood that's already been cut and split it is likely that your weight will be far less than mine.All in all, with the caveats shown above in mind, this is a good item and I would recommend it.The photos show: The assembled rack, the jumbled pile of wood on the pallet deck, the assembled rack on the pallet deck, and the last two show the wood stacked on the rack. Note that although the rack was still a couple of inches too long, two concrete edging blocks and a couple of shims brought the end of the rack up to full height to match everything else and not create any bowing in the assembly.

This is a decent log rack, but it's not really one of the greater type. While the metal itself is very sturdy, and the bolts are solid, the precision measurements aren't really very good. Things fit together well and you don't have any hard time getting it assembled, but the problem is that the holes are slightly big and allow for some wobble. Additionally, just the nature of the design of the bottom, being a double arch that is joined in the middle, also gives a flex point for this rack. They should have done something more like a t-shaped bar that the others would connect into, rather than just simply bolting two arches together. The same goes for the sides, it should have been more of an insert into them rather than a simple bolding two edges together. I was happy to see that they give you exactly one extra of each piece. However, one difficulty with assembly is that all of the parts are in the same bag rather than having smaller separate bags, causing you to have to fish around for the parts. I would highly recommend having a magnet around to keep the spare parts on. Also, using a hex nut drill piece and a small handheld drill / electric screwdriver, makes assembly so much easier and quicker.

This one is made very well with the extra support feet every couple of feet. These are great for storing hard plastic bins with lids up off the floor or metal cases with extra food stuffs in them... an example is my service dog is on RX food that I get delivered, in the winter time I like to keep a couple extra bags on hand as too many times I've had shipped items seriously delayed/lost due to winter storms. He's a big boy so I get the big bags and need room to store them. He can not eat anything but the RX food, I can't take the chance of running out, you're not getting his food off the shelf at wally world or petsmart! And we like to keep really well stocked human food, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry products, dish soap... too. This rack gives me the needed extra room.And the patios are enclosed, but they're not rodent proof out there, so I can keep traps/poisons behind these where the dogs can't get to them and it's all secured. These are super simple to assemble, I'm a short handicapped woman and I managed just fine by myself. Just make sure you have enough room, lay all your parts out and go to it!Inside this will last longer of course not subjected to the weather. If using it outside best to place it on a cement pad or place some good heavy concrete pads under it. The rack was easily assembled. It seems sturdy enough. Should hold up fine with gentle use.

If I could leave less stars, I would. They forgot to drill the holes in the second piece of metal. I didn’t want to be a man today, but I had to thanks to this bs. I thought I paid for a log holder with the holes are already drilled so we could just put it together. Guess not :/ drilled a set myself.
