I'll admit first that I did not use this wire for its listed purpose as a trailer wiring. Rather, being that it was 100 feet of pure copper wire in 4 strands, I figured this would make excellent ham radio random wire antennas. And it has.The strands are easy to separate, and individually, they are very flexible, easy to coil, easy to transport. The pure copper makes them great conductors so that they perform very well in the field. I made an end fed halfwave antenna for 20m using this wire, and it has quickly become my favorite antenna. Fast to deploy, easy to tune, and receives and transmits great. I've gotten some amazing SSTV and FT8 contacts using this great wire.On top of that, the wire is tough. The coating is a little thicker than you usually find on 16 gauge wire which is good, since I often throw this wire over branches or around trees. So far, despite all the abuse, I've not seen any exposure of the copper underneath. Still, when I'm tuning, this is easy to cut and strip, and the stranded wire inside twists easily for crimping. This really has been great antenna wire.And given that, I can only imagine it would be very good for trailer harnesses as well. Tough wire, durable, with good pure copper conductivity, this is just great wire for any use.

This product is a great value.Details:I'm currently adding extra lighting accessories to my truck and fifth wheel, and this wire has been very easy to work with. The copper wire accepts solder quickly. The insulation has held up well when threading and or pulling the wire through chassis and body components. Its durability was really tested when the wire reel arrived broken (likely due to a combination of the thin plastic and the delivery service). The wire insulation shows not penetrations or breaks despite indication of rubbing against the sharp edges of the reel. After a couple of lights have been installed on the truck; I found excellent circuit continuity, no shorts circuits or voltage drops.Bottom Line:I would recommend this wire to anyone rewiring a trailer, automotive accessories or even garage or shop audio systems.Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
