Last week I lost my good Fiskar hand pruner. While looking for a replacement, I found this 2 piece set with a folding saw. Today while horseback trail riding I was almost knocked off by a dead branch I didn’t duck low enough for. When I turned the horse back to get away from the branch I got a vine caught around my neck. I have an inexpensive pair of pruners in my saddle bag so the vine is history but my pruners were not large enough to handle the branch. I have often wished I could carry a saw on the trail. Now I can. The next time I ride, that branch is coming down!PS - I found my old Fiskars so the new pruner will probably go in the saddle bag to replace the inexpensive one. My one criticism is that the lock mechanism on the pruner isn’t that easy to work. With the old pruner I can easily lock it with my thumb. With the new one, not so much. Still an excellent tool.

Got this combo on clearance and it works well. I take clippers with me on hikes to trim any eye pokers along the paths. No concerns over wear and tear yet. The saw will work on branches, but don't expect to start a logging operation.

From scissors to saws this manufacturer is always my first choice. This saw is super sharp cutting through branches easily, and I am not very strong! Would definitely buy again. This is our second one since the first had been lent to someone and we can’t do without it for long!

Purchased to deal with a cedar hedge that was blocking my house number.The pruners were super sharp and snipped through branches easily but I’m glad this came with a saw bc it was necessary to cut through the thicker stems.

These two items is just what the doctor ordered to do the type of pruning we do in our garden and it was twice as nice as you got the two items for the price of one.
