We have an older Rex rat that has been losing his hair, also his brother recently passed away so he no longer has him to cuddle up with to keep warm and with the colder months I wanted something to keep him warm and this was perfect for him! I got a size Small and it fits him perfectly with extra room. It's super soft and I love that the padding inside comes out for easy cleaning.

My guinea pigs love this little "cave" - it has a cute little super soft padded "bed" inside - easy to take out and shake off - I even put a small piece of fleece on it like a little blanket and slide it right back in and my girls fight over it. They actually like to just sleep on the top of it too! One trying to get inside and cuddle up and another wants to sleep right on top.Super soft and the opening STAYS OPEN - really well made and washes great - goes in with all my guinea pig fleece and other beds - washing machine & the dryer. FEB 2025 UPDATE TO REVIEW - My guinea pigs have chosen these bed/caves over everything else I have given them to try. I just purchased 6 more of them!! I still put a cut piece of fleece on top of the bed pad that comes with it. If your guinea pig pees in it you can just change out the piece of fleece and the pad will stay dry. This way you don't have to wash so often. In a pinch I couldn't get to laundry so I washed and blew dry the bed pad. I couldn't find this product for a few weeks and then I did and I'M SO HAPPY (well my guinea pigs are so happy). The padding seems to not be as thick as before. MEDIUM IS DEFINITELY GOOD FOR GUINEA PIGS - I wasn't sure and ordered Large this last time and they are BIG!!! 2 guinea pigs can fit comfortably in a Large together (if your guinea pigs like to cuddle together). My guinea pigs like their own beds. THESE ARE THE BEST!!

Purchased a small because the medium looked too big for the hedgies and the small is perfect but still swallows the little guy. I love how thick and soft the material is. I also love how the mat is removable. If you're looking to buy it for a hedgie I definitely recommend it but remember to switch the size from medium to small.

Well, this is a nice, cozy, soft hidey for Guinea Pigs, but it needs to be washed sooo often! They poop in the bottom of it and it gets stinky very fast. It's machine washable, so I would just run it through the wash. Seemed easy at first, but the third time I washed it, the stuffing and foam inside got so messed up and twisted under the fabric that I couldn't easily fix it. It took me half an hour to manipulate it back into a usable shape. After the fourth wash, it got messed up again, and even worse this time. It wasn't worth the hassle for me, so we went back to just using a plastic igloo type hidey with no bottom. That just worked out better for us.

A cute pouch, very soft and enough space for an adult guinea pig to cuddle up comfortably. However, when we washed it, the beads that were on the bottom of it for traction came off and got stuck to all of our laundry. The foam lining also got severely twisted and is stuck like that. Unfortunate because it is so cute and so soft, but just not worth it if it can't be washed.

Okay I rarely write reviews. I’ll rate the product and move on. But the way my daughter’s guinea pig reacted to this, I had to share. “Cocoa†was immediately in love with his “cozy cave†(coined by my wife). He was in it and snuggled down within a matter of seconds. If you are looking for a cozy spot for your guinea pig to cuddle into, this is a great option. It’s a very warm fleece with a ridged but soft entrance so it doesn’t collapse on him. The pillow bottom is very comfy and soft and can easily be removed to wash.Highly recommend the medium for a guinea pig. Plenty of space to turn in move around but snug enough to be comfortable for him.

I love this bed for my two piggies! I got the medium and it’s a great fit for my 5 month old GP. The photo shows my 2 year old GP - clearly she’s very comfy, but she doesn’t have much room. I will try a large soon to see if that’s a better fit. It washes and dries fine, but the mat inside got kind of lopsided after the first wash and doesn’t lay perfectly in the bottom the way it did when it was brand new…not that it really matters since the animals tend to move it all around anyway (or use it completely up-side down as shown 😂). It’s super soft, inexpensive, and my GPs use it all the time - great purchase!

I really like this sleeping snuggie. Looks warm and well made. I also like the fact that it stays open in the front for easy access! Just wish I could have chosen the colour I wanted. I got blue when a pink or aqua would have been much better for female GP's.
