We recently purchased 3 umbrellas for the patio tables and lounge sets we have in the backyard. This was the first one we bought, however, this is easily the best one. We purchased different sizes and brands and this one stands out bc it is very sturdy and well made. It includes a small ring light that the others don't have and emits a warm LED light which adds to the overall vibe of our outdoor scene. In addition, there are 40 LED lights, others only have 32 LED lights. It also has added ventilation on the top which keeps us cool on warm days and the color of the umbrella is rich and vibrant. I returned one of the umbrellas that we purchased (note to all patio umbrella buyers, keep your box in case you don't like it bc it's really hard to find a replacement box for a return) and will purchase another one of the Flame&Shade brand patio umbrellas.

This two-tier patio umbrella is beautiful, functional and looks amazing. There's a light switch that turns on the pole light, or the umbrella spine lights separately. Separately. The charging unit on top of the umbrella works from day one and the material is sturdy. Truly a great purchase!

Hot August Nights are upon us. I purchased this patio umbrella, because it had the lighted underside. Living in Southern California, it was a no-brainer as this umbrella is equipped with a solar panel on top to power the LED lights. The assembly of this was super easy, the hardest part was unpacking the box. Instructions are easy to follow and I had it fully assembled and installed in 10 minutes. After a couple of hours, I put the shade up to test the lights and they worked like a charm. The lights are not super bright for reading but they do illuminate the space well for ambiance. The price point is right on target.We absolutely love this umbrella. It's stylish, fits our back patio and the quality is top notch. I would recommend this Patio Umbrella for anyone looking for one that will provide evening lights.

This is a great umbrella. I have purchased quite a few on an off of Amazon, but this one is by far my favorite. I love that it’s taut and doesn’t have wrinkles in it like so many others. The lights are just an extra appeal and they work great but provide a nice soft warm light vs a bright white offensive light. Very sturdy as well.

If you're like me and compared about 5 similar solar umbrellas, the Flame & Shade is the winner! Why? It's the only one I found with 2 individual light systems, not only the dotted LEDs. It has 2 light switches: 1 for the dotted LEDs, which creates a surprising amount of warm light (not blueish, almost yellow); and 1 for a center lamp of the same tone which basically doubles the amount of light and could be helpful for dinner at night. You can use either lights or both. The umbrella itself is the perfect size (7.5 ft) for my small patio.4 out of 5 stars for sturdiness, only because the fabric is kind of soft, so it's not a heavy-duty umbrella, but it gets the job done for shade and rain. And the center light piece feels a bit plastic-ey, but it works fine. The umbrella is lightweight and easy to open and close. The pole is a nice dark brown/copper color and is sturdy. Make sure to use at least 30lbs weighted base if going through a table, more if free standing. The red is a solid shade of red, not too dark or bright. Included Velcro straps make it easy to close up.I've only been able to use the lights at night a couple of times, but each night they held a solid charge and didn't flicker the whole time I was outside, maybe 2 or 3 hours. It creates a great atmosphere, especially if your area doesn't already have lights there.Another reason Flame & Shade is the winner: I've already experienced excellent customer service. The first umbrella I ordered arrived with a small hole in the fabric. They sent a new replacement umbrella within a week, no hassle. If I ever need another patio umbrella for a gift, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.-Completely unbiased and new-to-patio stuff reviewer.

This was very easy to put up by myself. I followed the instructions and let it have its initial charge for 4 days. It’s worked perfectly. I like how you can use the main light and small lights together or separately.

Delivery was quick! Item was undamaged! However the lights only worked for one summer. Would not recommend this product.
