I used this to help attach my shop vac to my Oneida Dust Deputy low-pro and it worked great.It's made smooth on the inside to help with the air flow, and it provided a tight fit on the hoses.

I built a device to separate water into a 5 gallon bucket and needed good air flow to pickup water. This is part of that plan. After recent record rain from a nasty tropical storm I had water in my basement. To work I go and have most of the water up and out a a couple of hours.

My sliding miter saw is on a shelf and has the dust collection port on the back, and I wasn't able slide it all the way forward without pinching the 2.5" dust collection line running to my shop vac. This elbow fixed the problem. It works great and was delivered quickly; gave it 4 stars because the price is high for a plastic elbow. As some of you may know, this type of "street elbow" for a 2.5" vacuum line is very hard to find, which explains the high price. Most of the 2.5" elbows available on Amazon or elsewhere are not street elbows, so they won't work for a situation like mine.

Most handy accessory ever for vacuum system! Fits Perfectly, so bought several more. Every shop needs several to attach hoses in an easy manner, tool attachment points are seldom in the correct direction. This piece is well made and fits firmly on both ends. Certainly worth the price. Two are a must have for the top of a cyclone separator.

I bought this elbow for my old Ridgid shop vac exhaust port. I was using a diffuser sold at HD and the sponge inside disintegrated after many years of use. This elbow is so much better and a lot cheaper. I have the exhaust shooting straight up and it just plain works. I'm very pleased with this simple item and it was well worth the cost.
